A series symbol is the logo that represents a character's universe in all three Super Smash Bros. games. It is displayed next to a character's damage meter (the same color as the character), as well as on the victory screen. This is a list of all the symbols, along with a short explanation of what they are and where they come from within their game universes, and a picture.

Kirby A Warp Star. It transports Kirby between areas, often at high speeds. File:KirbySymbol.gif
The Legend of Zelda The Triforce. -A powerful relic of Hyrule, which evil forces seek. File:Triforce.gif
Mario A Super Mushroom. -A common power-up in the Mushroom Kingdom which usually makes you grow in size. File:Mushroomsymbol.gif

Metroid A Screw Attack icon. -This suit upgrade allows you to damage enemies while jumping. File:MetroidSymbol.gif
