Bans
Throughout his time in the Smash scene at Michigan since 2014, he was noticed for his provocative, rude, and unusual behavior from players he interacted with, often acting disruptively to provoke others. He has scammed multiple tournament organizers by avoiding to pay fees to enter tournaments, leaving other smash players to pay for his meal after locals from leaving a restaurant abruptly, cheating a Kalamazoo player out of earnings from lying about the current set count of a game, and would come up with excuses whenever confronted and lie. Lastly, he initiated slurs towards Merrick publicly on Twitter and threatened him to keep his mouth shut, which prompted organizers to give him a month ban from tournaments. [1] [2] After multiple instances of scamming, cheating, and provocative behavior toward several women in the community that caused many to speak out against him, he would be banned again on March 3rd, 2018 until the beginning of 2019 around when Smash Ultimate released. In spite of this sentence he would be caught trying to register for tournaments secretly before getting his ban extended for ban evasion. Upon finishing his sentence on January 2019, he would repeat his behavior and would end up making disruptive noises at a tournament towards Scarby during a set, eventually causing him to withdraw and disqualify mid tournament. [3] While ordinarily that action alone would not warrant anything beyond a warning, his continued toxic behavior combined with his refusal to formally apologize towards his victims and the community at large would lead him to being permanently banned from attending all Michigan Smash tournaments. This ban would be lifted once more in May 7th, 2022, where he still continues to compete to this day. A full documentation on his history of bans can be found here.
