Battle Arena Melbourne 12 was a fighting game tournament in South Wharf, Victoria featuring events for Super Smash Bros., Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Project+. Originally planned as a Platinum tier stop on the 2020 Smash World Tour and scheduled to take place from May 29th-31st, 2020, it was delayed three times, eventually to May 13th-15th, 2022, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The tournament was a Gold stop on the Smash World Tour 2022, and was the first Gold stop for Melee. At 343 entrants, this tournament is the largest Ultimate singles tournament in Australian history.
