GenAssist: A Genesis 8 Community Fundraiser was an online Melee charity event. The event featured various showmatches and non-competitive content with the aim of raising money to assist the tournament organizers of GENESIS 8 with costs related to the tournament's postponement from January to April 2022.
The event was designed around Ludwig Ahgren Championship Series 4, which began on GenAssist's final day.

All showmatches were played best of 9 (except Chillindude vs. The Cheat, which continued until The Cheat won one game). iBDW vs. Ginger was scheduled for the final day of the event however the match did not occur.
