Smash Summit 12 is an upcoming Super Smash Bros. Melee invitational tournament. It will be the twelfth installment of the Smash Summit series for Melee, and will be held on December 9th-12th, 2021. Like previous Smash Summits, it will be held at the Summit Gaming House, a private residence house in Los Angeles, California, and will be closed to the general public. The tournament will have a Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl crew battle.
Pipsqueak was automatically invited to the tournament, as he had qualified for Smash Summit 11, but had to withdraw the day before the start of competition due to travel difficulties.[1] Leffen was invited after obtaining a visa.

Trivia
- Pipsqueak was the first player announced for both Smash Summit 12 and Smash Summit 13, qualifying for the latter by winning SAME Finale 2021.
- Smash Summit 12 was the first Summit to have five voted-in players, rather than six (due to Leffen being able to sort out his visa issues and attend at the last minute).
