Tri-Crescendo (sometimes spelled tri-Crescendo) is a Japanese video game development studio. It was founded in February 1999 by Hiroya Hatsushiba, who used his experience as a sound programmer to be the main sound designer for all games developed by Tri-Ace. Alongside these duties, the company would eventually branch out into full game development, acting as a support team for other companies. Their first co-development was alongside Monolith Soft for Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Last Ocean. They most frequently collaborate with Bandai Namco, such as with the Tales series and Eternal Sonata. They worked as a support developer for Super Smash Bros. 4 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

In Super Smash Bros. 4

Tri-Crescendo acted as a support developer for this game, specifically in planning, programming, and design.

A remix of the main battle theme from Baten Kaitos Origins, The valedictory elegy, plays on the Gaur Plain stage in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Tri-Crescendo returned as a support developer for this game, specifically in programming and design.

Sagi, the main protagonist of Origins, and Milly, a party member from Origins, appear as spirits in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The Valedictory Elegy returns, now only playing on stages with music listed in the "Other" and, as of version 8.1.0, "Super Smash Bros." categories.
