PM costumesEdit

Why are you uploading split-up versions of the PM costume images? What do they accomplish that the existing single images do not? (The heads are fine.) Toomai Glittershine   The Honcho 23:29, 27 February 2015 (EST)

If I tried to add the heads on the merged version of each PM costume images, most of them will not align under the portrait of each costume. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Super64 (talkcontribs) 23:41, 27 February 2015 (EST)
If that's the only issue, there are ways to fix it; I'll demonstrate on the Samus page. Also, when replying to a comment, don't make a new section, and sign with ~~~~ at the end. Toomai Glittershine   The Different 23:43, 27 February 2015 (EST)
Thanks, it'll be a big help for when I do the rest of the costumes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Super64 (talkcontribs) 23:46, 27 February 2015 (EST)
In addition, use the [[Image:]] or [[File:]] syntax when displaying images instead of directly linking to the raw URL, so the wiki can correctly identify how an image is being used. Toomai Glittershine   The Honcho 00:01, 28 February 2015 (EST)

Reminder: use [[Image:]] or [[File:]], don't link to the raw URL of images. Thanks. Miles (talk) 21:35, 11 March 2015 (EDT)

Also, as an FYI, there's no particular difference between [[Image:]] and [[File:]], so there's no reason to switch one to the other between those. Either is fine. Miles (talk) 21:45, 11 March 2015 (EDT)

Forward tiltEdit

In your last edit, while you added Roy and Ryu...you took away quite a lot of valuable content...why? This could be seen as vandalism, especially as there is no easy way for me to add the content back while keeping the helpful bits. Serpent King (talk) 20:49, 5 July 2015 (EDT)

Hold up thereEdit

Why are you adding extra trophy descriptions to the Brawl character pages? It seems quite superfluous. Toomai Glittershine   The Multifaceted 20:11, 27 July 2015 (EDT)

I have to agree, aside from maybe the Final Smashes. Nyargleblargle (Talk) 20:13, 27 July 2015 (EDT)
My apologies, I will try and add only the Classic Mode, and Final Smash trophies. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Super64 (talkcontribs) 20:15 27 July 2015 (EDT)
It's A-OK. Nyargleblargle (Talk) 20:19, 27 July 2015 (EDT)

Mario SSBM move pagesEdit

Hitbox visuals are present on Mario's SSBM page, linked just above is moveset table. Use those instead of copying the SSBU/SSB4 pages to avoid broken links. Hitbox Enthusiast Zeck (talk) 17:16, March 15, 2020 (EDT)

On the hitboxes pages, most of the images come from i.imgur.com. I'll reupload them later today. Super64 22:06, March 15 2020 (UTC)
You may also want to get a new one of dash attack that shows hitboxes and hurtboxes. The current one on the dash attack page only shows the animation. Hitbox Enthusiast Zeck (talk) 02:54, March 18, 2020 (EDT)

Brawl moveset dataEdit

You appear to have made a mistake when it comes to trusting the online Brawl hitbox resource a bit too much. It has some mistakes, and one of them is using the word "set" when the community had already established the term "part". As a result, I've had a bot go around and revert (hopefully) all the changes you made to the moveset pages involving adding a "set" column. You're going to have to go back to the pages where you added a "set" value and add a "part" value instead. Toomai Glittershine   The Keymaster 07:42, April 23, 2020 (EDT)

Yeah, sorry about that. I wasn't aware on what "part" meant for all hitboxes. Additionally, you mentioned that they were several mistakes for the hitboxes I uploaded. I was wondering what they were. Super64 (talk) 00:44, April 24, 2020 (EDT)

Brawl grabs/throwsEdit

I have successfully created templates for Brawl grabs and correctly updated the templates for Brawl throws. Unfortunately, it appears you have gone ahead and changed all the existing uses of the throw template ahead of me, so I am unable to use my bot to fix things automatically. You will have to go back and fill them in again.

In addition, it appears you have been missing a crucial part of throw framestrips on your new pages: the inclusion of "Min" and "Max" rows for weight-based throws. See Mr. Game & Watch (SSBM)/Down throw for an example. Toomai Glittershine   The Zesty 11:25, April 26, 2020 (EDT)

First of all, thanks for the heads up.
Second, I decided to skip the "Min" and "Max" rows for weight-based throws in order to save more time. I'll be sure to go back and add them. --Super64 (talk) 13:07, April 26, 2020 (EDT)

Melee hitboxesEdit

Hey! I’ve saw that you’ve uploaded hitboxes for the Melee cast. Can you tell me where you got the script for those? Or any source? SonDaniel   (talk page) 23:16, May 4, 2020 (EDT)

For the script, I found an excel file containing all of Melee's hitboxes from version 1.0 and just copy and pasted most attacks in wikia format. --Super64 (talk) 14:27, May 5, 2020 (EDT)

Smash 4 hitboxesEdit

I noticed you were making Smash 4 moveset pages so I figured I'd also give you a link that contains Smash 4's hitbox visuals since certain DLC characters lack them : https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1_8r2nCb1e-hNGeetpVPEfW9BpyNjp4Bv. Hitbox Enthusiast Zeck (talk) 16:50, July 23, 2020 (EDT)

Thank you. Super64 (talk) 16:52, July 23, 2020 (EDT)
You should do those pages one by one. You reversed Mii Swordfighter's up and down tilts and I assume it's because you did all tilts at once and got tabs confused or something. Hitbox Enthusiast Zeck (talk) 23:35, July 29, 2020 (EDT)

Important - Animation LengthsEdit

I just noticed thanks to Gunner UTilt but Animation Length excludes the last frame. The last frame is like a transition frame that isn't counted for the animation's total frame count. Always reduce animation lengths by one. Hitbox Enthusiast Zeck (talk) 02:07, July 30, 2020 (EDT)

I know. What I'm listing is the total frame count +1 since all character's animations start at frame 0. Super64 (talk) 02:12, July 30, 2020 (EDT)
If they start at frame 0, then you need to list the raw frame count without adding one, that's what I did for Ultimate. Hitbox Enthusiast Zeck (talk) 02:14, July 30, 2020 (EDT)
That's fine by me if were're going by raw frame count for all animations.
Just makes it easier for animation length when they start at frame 0. I didn't have that luxury when I covered what I did of Smash 4, my resource started animations on frame 1. Hitbox Enthusiast Zeck (talk) 02:17, July 30, 2020 (EDT)
From what I can tell, the final frame on Smash Forge is an extra dummy frame rather than an actual animation frame. Animations start on frame 0 on Smash Forge but its the last two frames that do not count. As an example using Smash Forge, let's take an animation that says its 40 frames. The first frame of the animation is on frame 0. Frame 39 is the transitional frame Zeck was talking about and frame 40 is just a dummy frame. As a result, the animation is 39 frames long. So much like with Brawl animations, the animation length is still the displayed length - 1. This applies to both Smash Forge and Struz Smash's online animation viewer (although those animation start on frame 1 and lack that final dummy frame.)
