NotabilityEdit

Neutral. I have seen 2 strong top players and 2 strong Wi-Fi players in the tourney, but there is also "Señor H" (Grand Dad), a player that was previously deleted due to lack of notability, so there might be more players with little notability. Therefore, I am skeptical about this.   NPM🐷 Morr!?   20:43, June 29, 2020 (EDT)

I am also pretty neutral about this, and I tagged this mainly to bring some discussion to it since I'm between deletion and keeping the article for the same reasons above. Perhaps there can be a stronger case for both sides. Cookies Creme 20:46, June 29, 2020 (EDT)

Oppose: I feel like most of the wifi-tournaments needs to have much higher expectations of notability. Most pages involving wifi have over 300 entrants and/or notable players, with multiple PGR/WWR ranked players competing with their typical characters. Having just two notable players and a mere 128 entrants doesn’t feel very competitive (or notable for that matter). Lag Spike: Ultimate New Year had 400+ entrants and multiple PGR/WWR players (BestNess, Spargo, Sword, Bloom4Eva) competing. There were way more than just “2 strong top players and 2 strong wifi players”. Clockwork vs. just pales in comparison. MemeDedede (talk) 23:17, June 29, 2020 (EDT)

Oppose. Was going to stay neutral but, after noticing that the article creator is also someone in the top 8 of the tournament, it seems as more of a vanity page or a show-off to say, "Hey guys I finally made it on SmashWiki!" rather than a real, informative page. Also the fact that it has 128 entrants (which, at this point in time during COVID, it isn't an outstanding amount of entrants for a Wifi tournament) diminishes it's value on the site. alhecks  16:23, June 30, 2020 (EDT)
Oppose keeping the page. Nothing much to add that hasn't already been said. This is a very small scale tournament. Four notable players isn't anywhere near the requirements for notability. Pot size/attendance are really tiny too. Señor Mexicano (talk) 00:36, July 15, 2020 (EDT)
As Senor Mexicano seaid, I oppose this.   S3AHAWK (talk)  01:30, July 28, 2020 (EDT)
