Brood (ブルード), is a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Banjo & Kazooie player from Tokyo, Japan. He was considered the best Piranha Plant and Richter player in the world before dropping the characters. He has defeated players such as Shuton, kameme, Gackt, ZAKI, Eim, and KEN.
In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Brood was a Duck Hunt player, and is considered one of the best Duck Hunt players in Japan, as well as in the world, alongside Raito and You3. Brood is currently ranked 73rd on the JAPAN Power Rankings. He has taken sets off of players such as ZeRo, Zinoto, Choco, T, Some, Umeki, and RAIN.
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Brood was an Olimar player, and was considered one of the best Olimar players in the world, alongside Nietono and Dabuz.

- Brood was the first Japanese player to take a set off Mew2King in Brawl, doing so at Apex 2010.
- Brood is one of only four smashers to have a positive record against ZeRo in Smash 4, the others being Prince Ramen, Luhtie (all 1-0), and Kirihara (2-1).
- Brood's 2nd place at Umebura SP 4 is the highest placement of any Piranha Plant players at an Ultimate national tournament.
