Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield! (ソード・シールド発売！ ポケモントーナメント) is an upcoming Online Tourney event based around the Pokémon series. It will run from 6 a.m. on November 15, 2019 to 6 a.m. on November 18, 2019 (UTC), coinciding with the release of the newest entry in the series, Pokémon Sword and Shield. During the event, only characters and stages from the Pokémon series can be used.

Trivia
- Despite the event focusing on Pokémon Sword and Shield, a majority of the playable Pokémon are absent from said games; only Charizard, Lucario, Pichu, and Pikachu are present in their Pokédex.
- Ivysaur, Squirtle, Mewtwo and Incineroar are fully coded in the games' data, but unavailable in the Pokédex. Jigglypuff and Greninja are completely absent altogether.
