Heir 3 is the third edition of the Heir tournament series, taking place on August 19th-21st, 2016 at the Cripps Hall of Nottingham University, in England, United Kingdom. It was formerly the largest European tournament of all time for Super Smash Bros. Melee with 472 entrants, surpassing B.E.A.S.T 6's 410 entrants, until it was surpassed by Heir 4 the following year.
