Um, I've been on this wiki for a while now, but nice to meet you! SugarCookie420 (talk) 18:06, 8 August 2018 (EDT)

Regarding seniority

Hi, I came across your comment here the other day and wanted to leave you a message about seniority and retaliation in the community, or rather lack thereof. You should not feel in any way that your edits are not as meaningful as a member who's been around a long time, or an admin's, particularly in the mainspace where every editor is encouraged to contribute their thoughts to make the wiki as complete and useful as it can be. It would also be grossly inappropriate for any sort of reprisal to happen for speaking up about a rule violation, so you should have nothing to fear on that front. If you feel the need, you can contact one of the admins to privately talk about an issue you might be having as well. – Emmett 20:13, 22 September 2018 (EDT)

About the Mother 3 clay models

Just warning you that these are all fan-made models, which counts as fan art. As SW:IMG states, fan art is to not be used in mainspace, unless it's meant to demonstrate a point (as with the Gematsu leaks page). This doesn't seem to be the case, meaning that official art should be used instead, those being the characters' sprites. —   Nokii (T·C·L) 00:47, 29 September 2018 (EDT)

Oof, and I took those from the Earthbound Wiki, assuming they were official. Well, sorry about that. SugarCookie420 (talk) 11:17, 29 September 2018 (EDT)

Your edits to Music (SSBU)

If you can, condense all your edits into one so that they don't clog up Recent Changes. Thank you. Awesomelink234, the Super Spooky Sonic Fan Leave a message if needed 22:36, 10 October 2018 (EDT)

I thought about poking SugarCookie about this myself, but I also considered the fact that he's doing a HUGE amount of work for something very complicated. I feel that this is one time where trying to do everything in one go is probably not the best thing to do. Black Vulpine of the Furry Nation. Furries make the internets go! :3 23:35, 10 October 2018 (EDT)
Yeah, I had to do it section by section because it was frustrating doing it using the whole page, since not only do I have to scroll all the way back down after previewing, but it was really hard to find the place I need to update. I do apologize for crowding up space, however. SugarCookie420 (talk) 18:54, 11 October 2018 (EDT)

Midwest Mayhem 12

Midwest Mayhem 12 has a PGR value of 672, which meets the requirement to be B-Tier. Dabuz (1-5) is 224, Lima (11-20) is 96, Marss/SDX (21-30) are 80 each, and tyroy/Ned/Maister (31-50) are 64 each. The Google doc is simply outdated, considering it still lists GTX as a B-Tier despite no longer even qualifying to meet PGR. PokemonMasterJamal3 (talk) 21:56, 4 November 2018 (EST)

I also find the PGR document extremely unreliable (I'm waiting for Andrew to update it right now), however I also have some doubts on Midwest Mayhem 12, judging by how Glitch 5 was not included in the list despite qualifying as a C-Tier with 580 points before the C-Tier cut off, not to mention that I cannot find any information on how the PGR 100 runs. I just assumed that some tournaments are not included for some reason, and it may have applied to Midwest Mayhem 12. SugarCookie420 (talk) 22:09, 4 November 2018 (EST)
Glitch 5 doesn't qualify at all, actually, so there's no mistake there. Its entrant value is 244 (122 entrants x 2) and its PGR value is 176 (96+80).
Lima (11-20) is 96 and WaDi (21-30) is 80, and they were the only ones in attendance.
They only use the higher of the two values, meaning Glitch 5's value is 244 (which is below the 300 point cutoff for a C-Tier). Very confused as to how you could have gotten 580. PokemonMasterJamal3 (talk) 23:50, 4 November 2018 (EST)
Must have been my glitchy calculator ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ SugarCookie420 (talk) 19:16, 5 November 2018 (EST)

Regarding this

Please read this. Thank you. Black Vulpine of the Furry Nation. Furries make the internets go! :3 01:50, 7 November 2018 (EST)

Apologies, it was a very long day, and I kinda got too overboard on frustration and forgot about that rule. SugarCookie420 (talk) 14:43, 7 November 2018 (EST)

Thanks for informing me

My bad about the multiple edits. I tried that earlier, and it didn't save anything, so I tried to do in in small bits. I can try again in one edit though. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pappy Parappy (talkcontribs) 1:35, November 11, 2018

It's fine, I've made that mistake before. Just don't forget to sign your posts with four tildes, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask me or anyone else :). SugarCookie420 (talk) 21:41, 11 November 2018 (EST)

Smasher: Braixen

You once updated the Smasher:Braixen page to correct the grammar from "their" to "he". Braixen is a non-binary individual and does not use he/him or she/her pronouns. Pronouns have been reverted to they/them/their. 67.160.168.68 23:06, 19 November 2018 (EST)

Sorry, I didn't know. Nothing personal, just a mistake. SugarCookie420 (talk) 18:51, 20 November 2018 (EST)

Once* for the name Sammybambam11 (talk) 21:22, 6 December 2018 (EST)

I'm pretty sure we can, since there isn't a point on having it up anymore. However, that's only when it's completely over, not when there's 1 minute left. SugarCookie420 (talk) 21:23, 6 December 2018 (EST)
Dude, you asked on aidan’s talk and already got an answer there. Why are you asking again? Black Vulpine of the Furry Nation. Furries make the internets go! :3 00:04, 7 December 2018 (EST)
I'm assuming that he didn't see Sonic's reply, as he replied to me 2 minutes after Sonic. SugarCookie420 (talk) 00:06, 7 December 2018 (EST)

About the victory themes

You seem to be making one consecutive edit for one section at a time. Please do one edit for all the fighters. sans {talkcontributions) 19:43, 7 December 2018 (EST)

I've been notified for something similar previously. The reason I'm doing this is because since this is a lot of work, doing it in one go is extremely messy and, to be honest, probably allowing a lot of room for error if I had just done it one-by-one. SugarCookie420 (talk) 19:45, 7 December 2018 (EST)
For me personally, I'd copy and paste so that I don't have to deal with such repeated edits. You should probably do that as well. Making one edit at the time for one section is even harder work since you're doing a loop of submitting your edits and then pressing the edit button. sans {talkcontributions) 19:49, 7 December 2018 (EST)
I generally find that easier, but oh well. Don't worry, I got the new ones done with, so the sped-up ones should be easy and I'm doing it in one go. SugarCookie420 (talk) 19:50, 7 December 2018 (EST)

Good job

Nice work! Your contributions reflect the kind of awesome work we SmashWikidians like to see!
I've noticed a good deal of great edits coming from you and I wanted to encourage you to keep it up! It's always good to have consistent and dedicated editors. Thank you and keep up the good work Serpent   King 15:29, 18 January 2019 (EST)

GENESIS 6

Nintendo Versus's tweet had a penguin emoji in it so it was relevant to the paragraph of the penguins becoming a meme. It was a continuation of Nintendo's involvement in it. Did you remove it because you missed seeing it? --Meester Tweester (talk) 01:07, 3 February 2019 (EST)

Probably. You didn't provide an explanation for your change (making me assume you made that edit because it was about Nintendo VS) and the sentence fit in extremely awkwardly with the rest of the paragraph, so I decided to remove it. Also, I believe one example should be enough, with the first tweet being the most obvious, but if you wanted to add the other one, you could always phrase it more like how it was in the paragraph. Question about my current proposal on the general proposals forum

Is there any way to get a consensus on it? I don’t want it to just be forgotten. I’m talking about the one where we should place major alternate costumes in a tab in the infobox instead of the gallery. Lou Cena (talk) 13:51, 9 February 2019 (EST)

From what I have read, everyone is somewhat agreeing with your proposal, it's just how we should implement it - whether it's like the FE Wiki or your proposal. You can always try doing the former, and I don't think anyone would be against it. SugarCookie 420 14:00, 9 February 2019 (EST)
Thanks for telling me. I’m not a very experienced wiki editor, so I’m not really sure how to split them up into tabs without breaking he entire page, but thanks for telling me. Lou Cena (talk) 15:29, 9 February 2019 (EST)
No problem, to be honest I'm not the best either, I learned a lot of wiki editing through experimentation and analyzing the code, so you could do that too. SugarCookie 420 15:32, 9 February 2019 (EST)

Your movesets page

Quick thing: you probably shouldn't use the moveset table template, as that creates redlinks that the wiki is going to flag. Instead, I'm going to recommend that you use one that doesn't have as much redlinks. I could even implement it in there for you to save you time, if you wanted. Aidan, the Lovely Rurouni 00:08, 17 February 2019 (EST)

Funny enough, I actually tried using your method, however I'm not that great at reading what you made, so I stuck to a moveset table. If you can explain how it works, then I'll gladly take it. SugarCookie 420 09:00, 17 February 2019 (EST)
Essentially, what I did was I made a wikitable that looked enough like it to look legitimate, and slightly edited it so that it was general links instead of creating links to all these attacks for characters that don't exist. It's a fairly simple process, but, again, I'd be glad to save you time and do it myself if you want. Aidan, the Lovely Rurouni 15:15, 17 February 2019 (EST)
I'll take a look at it again. I don't want my work to interfere with your work. SugarCookie 420 15:17, 17 February 2019 (EST)
