Sleep

There are a few attacks in the Super Smash Bros. series that cause the sleep effect. Characters hit by such attacks will be put to sleep instead of taking knockback. If the target is already asleep, the length of the effect will not be increased or reset.

Trivia

• Jigglypuff is the only playable character to have a non-Final Smash attack that causes sleeping.
