Xerneas (ゼルネアス, Xerneas) is a fictional creature from the Pokémon series.
In Super Smash Bros. 4
Xerneas appears as a Poké Ball and Master Ball summon in Super Smash Bros. 4. When summoned, it uses its signature move, Geomancy: this causes all players' attacks to have increased knockback, though the summoner is affected by this boost more than the other players.
In both versions it must be unlocked by completing a specific challenge before being able to appear:
- In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS: play Target Blast at least once.
- In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U: break 200 blocks in a single solo game of Trophy Rush as Pikachu.

Origin
Xerneas is a Fairy-type Legendary Pokémon that serves as the version mascot of Pokémon X. Legend says that it possesses the power to bestow eternal life.
Geomancy is a Fairy-type move which only Xerneas can learn naturally: after one turn spent charging, it raises the user's Special Attack, Special Defense and Speed by two levels.
