May I suggest Sukapon? Squishyfrog Chat 23:28, 19 September 2011 (EDT)
- Unfortunately I am not familiar with that series, so you probably should talk to Royboy. Mr. Anon (talk) 23:30, 19 September 2011 (EDT)
I find Magnus more likely than Medusa, and especially Palutena. Anyways, I'd love to see a Dragon King playable. Captain Rainbow would be awesome, but unlikely. Maybe there should be a section for this mysterious Capcom character Sakurai is interested in. Most likely Megaman, but I'd love Amaterasu. ToastUltimatum Complaints Box 06:23, 20 September 2011 (EDT)
Actually, if anyone it might be either Amaterasu (I'm sorry but I don't agree with that) or maybe someone from Resident Evil like Leon S. Kennedy. They've been sort of driving out Mega Man kind of like they did with Alex Kidd. --RoyboyX (talk) 15:59, 20 September 2011 (EDT)
Also as a note: we need more female, classic, villain and third party fighters. --RoyboyX (talk) 16:33, 20 September 2011 (EDT)
For the villian category, I would LOVE to see a Pigmask from Mother 3, but probably not gonna happen. Also, for classic characters, mabye a couple of Koopalings that switch in a tag team like the Pokemon Trainer? It'd feel weird to cut some out though, and there's no way all 7 could be put in. Yeah, I got nothing. --174.59.4.202 17:19, 20 September 2011 (EDT)
- Actually I just added the villain of Earthbound (Porky), who is pretty close to a Pigmask. Mr. Anon (talk) 17:27, 20 September 2011 (EDT).
- I don't think Porky himself would really work as a character. He doesn't really have any special powers, and he's also one of those villians you get the feeling he'd have someone else do the fighting (i.e. Pigmask) if he had the option. Not to mention that in Mother 3, he's older than dirt. Porky just wouldn't really feel "right" to me, but hey, to each his own. :/ --174.59.4.202 17:36, 20 September 2011 (EDT)
- I'm not so sure that is true. He does actually fight in both Earthbound and Mother 3, in his spider-mech. Plus, in Mother 3 it somewhat implies that he has PSI powers, since he can pull of inexplicable attacks. Obviously in Smash-bros he would fight in his Earthbound spidermech, which is small enough to work as a heavyweight. His special moves would all be projectiles, while his neutral attacks would involve ramming, kicking, and tear gas. His final smash would probably be the above-mentioned inexplicable attack. Ninten
That won't work. He'll just be a clone of Ness and Lucas. Blindcolours TONDA GOSSA. 17:41, 20 September 2011 (EDT)
Anon has a seperate moveset. Just ask him. --RoyboyX (talk) 17:46, 20 September 2011 (EDT)
- Ninten's generall playstyle would focus more on his weapons and less on PSI, since in Mother 1, Ninten has no offensive PSI.
- First let's do special moves:
- Neutral special: Offenseup. He takes out his bat, and charges up a super-powerful strike.
- Side special: PK Teleport. Kinda like Ike's Quickdraw, except he can go much faster, and at full power he teleports a short distance after he runs.
- Up special: Fourth D slip. A lot like Mewtwo's teleport, except goes a bit shorter distance but doesn't put him into helpless state (though he can't use it again in his jump)
- Down special: Powershield. A reflector, a bit like Fox's, except reflected projectiles do 1.5 times damage and knockback. The downside is that you can't hold it down and it doesn't last long.
- Final Smash: Two popular options here. First option is 8 Melodies, where he sings the 8 melodies, doing constant, knockback-less damage that is undodgable. Second option is tank, which is self explanitory. Since the second option is another landmaster, Sakurai would be better going with the first.
- I haven't yet figured out what all his neutral attacks would be, but I have figured out his Smashes.
- Side Smash: Quite literally a "Smash" attack, where he swings his bat downwards. If it hit it says in big letters "SMAAASH!".
- Up Smash: Boomerang. Pretty much the same as Snake's Up Smash, except it is weaker but faster.
- Down Smash: Again boomerang, where he throws it diagonally downwards a short distance, then it curves back around him to hit the other side.
Classics
Part 1 of four. Since Smash needs more classic forgotten characters, I've done a review of several of these characters.
Donkey Kong Jr.
- Pauline - She has very little potential because she does nothing other than cry for help and lose her purse, parasol and hat, so the most she could do might be a damaging hat tip, parasol float a la Peach and smacking you with her purse. However, Sheik and Zamus only had one move but they were put in Smash with ninja/spy style moves. And Phoenix Wright was added in Marvel vs Capcom with damaging "OBJECTIONS!" Perhaps she could work...
- Sheriff - Strong potential. Shoot'em'up pardner!
- Stanley - Plausibility. All he could really do was spray people with pesticide and maybe throw worms.
- Balloon Fighter - People were saying he had amazing potential. Several jumps and maybe throwing fish as a projectile.
- Bubbles - I dunno. Maybe King of Swing moves? All she could really do is swing around and kick.
- Devil - Probably not. All he does is tilt the screen. If he were added in he'd be a new villain.
- Duck Hunt Dog - HELL NO. Assist Trophy (see my user page for idea).
- Excitebiker - Jumping? Maybe a ramp appears out of nowhere a'la Sonic's springs?
- Mach Rider - Um... Captain Falcon costume?
- Mike Jones - Possibly. Must look into the subject further.
- Mr. Stevenson - Possibly not. Possibly yes. Again, must review further.
- Professor Hector - Nope.
- Tamagon - Possible. Though he'd just swim around carrying crosses and collecting dots a'la Pac-Man.
- Ayumi Tachibana - Though I've seen her in two fake character rosters, probably not. But she could be a female.
- Chao - Probably not.
- Donbe and Hikari - ...No?
- Goku - ...Probably not. Need to research though.
- Protagonist of Famicom Tantei Club - Probably not along with Ayumi.
- Sukapon - Very likely.
- Takamaru - Very likely.
- Alice - Basically a female Balloon Fighter, so no. But she could be one of the females.
- Muddy Mole - I'd say... no. Go with how he was rumored to be and make him an Assist Trophy.
- Sabure Prince - Be like Pokemon Trainer and go from human to snake to frog? Maybe.
Also might I suggest that Sonic transform into Werehog form? --RoyboyX (talk) 19:29, 20 September 2011 (EDT)
- Ballon fighter is probably the best choice, since he was considered in Melee, so Sakurai probably has a moveset written down somewhere. Mr. Anon (talk) 19:52, 20 September 2011 (EDT)
Here's someone you need to add Anon: Lip. Give the game another female fighter and maybe even make it a little girlier. Plus she is said to come from one of the best puzzle games. Don't know who I mean? The Lip's Stick item is hers and her theme is on PictoChat. --RoyboyX (talk) 20:19, 24 September 2011 (EDT)
She might actually work better as an Assist Trophy, but it's up to you.
Didn't you want Captain Syrup? --RoyboyX (talk) 16:21, 28 September 2011 (EDT)
NO. I have a hilarious idea. DUCK HUNT DOG. He could use balls or whatever, whip with a leash, bite, and recover by grabbing ducks and flying. Final Smash might be like Snake's. --RoyboyX Talk 08:55, 2 October 2011 (EDT)
