Score Display is a secret option introduced in Super Smash Bros. Melee. It can be unlocked by scoring a combined total of 5,000 KO's in VS Mode. Instead of waiting to know your score at the end a VS Mode match, such as Time, you may now see your score on screen (via amount of knockouts by numbers). The option, however, doesn't work in certain matches such as Stock.
