Lucas utilizes Duster's Rope Snake as his grab and Tether Recovery.

The Rope Snake is Lucas' Grab attack. He can also use it as a Tether Recovery, similar to Samus's and Link's grabs (Grapple Beam and Clawshot, respectively).

Trivia

  • When used as a tether recovery, it is only slightly shorter than Ivysaur's Vine Whip.
  • In MOTHER 3, Lucas did not use a Rope Snake; the item actually belonged to Duster, who purchased it from the ghosts living in Osohe castle. The Rope Snake was actually a character that talked and was used as a rope to swing across pits and as a tether to hang from egdes.
  • In Lucas's Side Taunt, he converses with the rope snake after it taps him on the shoulder.
