The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

Carl's Tournament 3 (or CT3) is the upcoming third installment of a Canadian tournament series hosted by FalseFalco on an annual basis. The series draws some of the strongest professional smashers from all over Canada as well as arousing interest from nearby American players. The event is slated to occur on May 5th, 2007.

Rules

The event will be split amongst pools to determine the entrants of the final double elimination bracket.

Pools

  • 1 match
  • 5-minute time limit
  • 4-stock
  • Stages will be selected randomly from the neutral stage list
  • Double-blind character picks
  • Pausing is OFF

Bracket

  • Double Elimintation
  • Best of 3 (Winners bracket finals, Losers bracket finals are best of 5)
    • 4 stock
    • 8 minute time limit
    • Daves stupid rule (You cant counterpick with a stage you have won on)
    • Advanced slob picks (After random match, Loser announces level, Winner character change, Loser character change)
