Maesuma TOP 5 is an ongoing regional Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament planned to be held in Osaka, Japan, from July 3rd-4th, 2021. Originally scheduled for February 23rd, it was postponed several times due to a COVID-19 state of emergency in the Osaka Prefecture.[1][2][3][4][5] The final date was announced on June 2nd.[6]
As a result of train delays, several players, including Shuton, Tea, and KEN, dropped out of the tournament.
