Gnes is a smasher from Missouri City, Texas, who is mostly known for playing Diddy Kong in Brawl. Along with ADHD and Zinoto, the former of which he defeated at KTAR 4, he was considered to be one of the top three Brawl Diddy Kong players in the United States. He is currently ranked 2nd on the Texas Brawl Power Rankings, and was formerly ranked 8th on the Houston Smash 4 Power Rankings.
Gnes's tag is short for Greatness.

- Gnes received the biggest prize check in Brawl tournament history by placing 1st at MLG Dallas 2010, earning $12,500, which was also the biggest prize check for the overall Smash series for over 5 years before being surpassed by Hungrybox's win at Battle of the Five Gods, earning $13,000.
