Con Comics 2014 was a tournament held by the international comics and videogames convention Con Comics, featuring Melee singles for the first time. In previous years Brawl tourneys where held at the event, so many of the entrants weren't familiar with Melee. There was a big gap of skill between the first 3 places and the rest of the entrants, since Fullen, Blip and Anop are the best Melee players currently living in Cordoba, Argentina. There were many unexpected problems with the tourney, the biggest being the console the staff brought broke hours before pools started, so a group of players took a cab to their house and back to bring a new console.
