I can understand and respect that perspective, but I personally just do not feel comfortable having information about myself on a wiki page - especially when I really have not done anything notable for the smash 64 community. I have no interest in doing anything further in smash 64, and I often get pressured to attend tournaments despite having made it clear that I do not want to. My hope is that by removing this page, I will finally be able to put smash 64 behind me. Bane (talk) 23:11, 25 August 2015 (EDT)Bane

:...I think you might be overestimating the power SmashWiki has over tournaments slightly. It notes that you're retired, and there's really no information here at all so it's not like we're spreading your personal information over the internet. I don't see what makes it a big deal. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe Nutta. 21:40, 26 August 2015 (EDT)

Bane here. I'd like to delete this page, as I quit Smash 64 a long time ago and moved on to Melee. I'd like to leave behind my 64 persona and start developing a new one. Bane (talk) 20:07, 13 May 2015 (EDT) Bane

Then the page would have Melee info. It just means it's out of date. This is not a valid reason for the deletion tag. F0rZ3r0F0r (talk) 19:14, 24 May 2015 (EDT)

Then how about I just don't want to have a wiki page? Am I really not allowed to decide to pull my own page? Ridiculous. Bane (talk) 22:23, 28 May 2015 (EDT)Bane

It's not that, it's the fact that it doesn't go by deletion policy; you yourself said that you'd rather have it list your Melee persona; Despite that, you still made history in Smash. If you really want deletion of such a thing, take it up with an admin. I'm not saying you can't have your own page pulled down, I'm saying it doesn't go by deletion policy. I don't think blanking the page is necessary, unless you've had a side conversation that I don't know about. LittleMacmain97, a new kind of noob. (talk) 02:42, 1 July 2015 (EDT)

I would like to suggest (again) that my page be deleted. Just saying, there are many people (in probably literally every smash game) who have done way more than me in their games than I have and they don't have a page/a detailed page. Someone just decided to make a page for me and now apparently I'm stuck with it. I've never even been to a tournament before. Bane (talk) 18:29, 25 August 2015 (EDT)Bane

Is there any specific reason that it's a big deal? As a wiki, it's our job to report on notable people/events/etc. Personally, I would say it's an honor to have a page here. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe Nutta. 22:00, 25 August 2015 (EDT)
