A Fated Battle is a single-player event match in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. The player, as Link, must defeat Ganondorf in a 2 stock battle. If the battle lasts through the third background change, 2 Dark Links, each with 1 stock, will appear. Whilst the player can knock them out, it is not neccersary.
Trivia
- This event is similar to Brawl's Event 9: The Monster Beneath the Earth where the player must fight additional enemies if Castle Siege reaches its third background.
