8-Player Smash is a gameplay mode in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. This mode allows eight players to play on the same stage at one time. However, only a select few stages can be played on. The known stages are:
- Battlefield
- Big Battlefield
- Gaur Plain
- Mario Galaxy
- Palutena's Temple
- The Great Cave Offensive
- Windy Hill
- Onett
- Temple
- Yoshi's Island
- 75 m
- Bridge of Eldin
- Castle Siege
- Congo Jungle
Additionally, the Ω Form of these stages can be played:
- Gamer
- Garden of Hope
- Jungle Hijinxs
- Kalos Pokémon League
- Mushroom Kingdom U
- Pyrosphere
- Wily Castle
- Wrecking Crew
- Halberd
- Luigi's Mansion
- Norfair
- Skyworld
The stages will increase in size to accommodate all the players.
In addition to red, blue, yellow, and green indicators for players 1-4, players 5-8 receive new indicators colored orange, cyan, pink, and indigo respectively. In Team Battles, an additional team color, the yellow team, can be selected.

Trivia
- There were unused sound clips and images in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS hinting the mode.
- Interestingly, while Ω forms of stages are available in 8-Player Smash, Final Destination isn't an option for 8-Player Smash (said Ω stages are usually no bigger than Final Destination itself).
