::A bit modified from my earlier position, but I think characters should use artwork from their most recent appearance in a ''Smash'' game. For example, when/if artwork of [[Starfy]] is released from ''SSB4,'' we'll replace the Brawl image you think is "crappy" with the undoubtedly higher quality SSB4 one. :::I can see what you're saying, but why not just use regular artwork? Sure, Assist Trophies aren't as "significant" as playable characters, but they are still important.
