The Bombchu first appeared in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and have appeared in Majora's Mask, Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Seasons, and Phantom Hourglass. In Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, Bombchus move forward and explode upon impact on an enemy or obstacle, or after a period of time. In Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons, they lock onto an enemy and follow it if there is one present. In Phantom Hourglass, Bombchus follow a given path made by the player.
