13 February 2014: Little Mac is confirmed for Super Smash Bros. 4 as a newcomer. The boxing ring stage shown in previous trailers and screenshots was rebranded as a Punch-Out!! stage, and the stage is confirmed to be in the 3DS version as well.
12 February 2014: The Home-Run Bat is confirmed as a returning item in the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. 4.
7 February 2014: Mother Brain is confirmed as an Assist Trophy in the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. 4.
5 February 2014: Palkia is confirmed to appear in Super Smash Bros. 4 as a Poké Ball Pokémon.
