Having a user look through the history of a talk page just to figure out what a user said is ridiculous, as all info should be right there on the talk page. - Because unless the post is a link to a shock/porn site or reveals highly personal information, it should remain for historical purposes. Having a user look through the history of a talk page just to figure out what a user said is ridiculous, as all info should be right there on the talk page. Such info is needed in case of a block, so that other users may see what the user said to deserve a block. MegaTron1XD
