Hi
Sign your comments with ~~~~ Bandit 07:45, 11 September 2012 (EDT)
Also, look at the date of when the discussion you're commenting on took place. You do not comment on old, resolved discussions when you have nothing new to add. As a rule of thumb, if the last post of the discussion was made over a month ago, do not comment unless you have something new to add to an unresolved discussion. Omega Tyrant 07:50, 11 September 2012 (EDT)
Also use the preview button to help you avoid doing to many edits. Dots The Bomb 09:34, 11 September 2012 (EDT)
- Before telling someone to use the preview button, look at how the edits were made. This user edited section by section, they didn't make an excess amount of edits from not using preview. Omega Tyrant 10:13, 11 September 2012 (EDT)
Seriously Sandvich, at the end of every edit to a talk page such as this, type ~~~~. This will sign your comment, an essential thing to do on wikis. Toast ltimatum 17:10, 12 September 2012 (EDT)
Trivia
You were adding irrelevant/redundant trivia. ShupaRoeh 18:50, 11 September 2012 (EDT)
SW:TALK
Hi, I highly recommend you read our talk page policy. You've been violating it with several of your talk page posts. Primarily, our talk pages are not to be used to discuss your opinion of the subject, their purpose is to discuss the actual content of the article and how it can be improved. Also, your sig goes at the end of your comment. Omega Tyrant 17:58, 12 September 2012 (EDT)
- Funny thing is, I've warned him several times about SW:TALK as you can see here and here. Bandit 18:02, 12 September 2012 (EDT)
Talk page usage
Please review SW:TALK. Your recent edits to the SSB4 talk page are not the correct usage of such pages. Miles (talk) 17:58, 12 September 2012 (EDT)
Last warning
If you fail to sign another post or violate our talk page policy again, you will be blocked. Omega Tyrant 18:33, 12 September 2012 (EDT)
- Well then, you've failed to sign on a talk page post yet again. Brace yourself for some time off. Toast ltimatum 07:43, 13 September 2012 (EDT)
Old talk page posts
Do not respond to talk page posts that are months old, especially not with off-topic content that will earn you another block if you don't stop it. Toomai Glittershine The Irrepressible 23:44, 5 October 2012 (EDT)
SORRY
I'M SORRY FOR BEING FORGETFUL. I CAN'T DO ANYTHING RIGHT. I'LL TRY TO STOP BEING STUPID IF YOU STOP BEING MEAN TO ME. I'M ALREADY BEING BULLIED, STOP MAKING ME FEEL WORSE!!Sandvich9 (talk) 17:01, 19 December 2012 (EST)
I've noticed that everyone in THIS wiki is being mean. People were nicer at the Super Mario wiki. Also I missed your “blocks” that you gave me because I forgot about this wiki. I promise I will sign my talk sections. Hey, OmegaTyrant and ToastUltimum, are you administrators?Sandvich9 (talk) 17:14, 19 December 2012 (EST)
- I don't get why your putting your opinions on your talk page and why talk to yourself. Also ToastUltimatum isn't an admin. Dots The StarCraft 17:17, 19 December 2012 (EST)
SORRY. Also I was ASKING if they were admins. One more thing, if any of you remember my “Dig Dug” opinion, I read in Nintendo Power that Cody Martin thought it was a good idea.Sandvich9 (talk) 17:33, 19 December 2012 (EST)
- You know, not everyone is mean here. The Awesome 17:46, 19 December 2012 (EST)
- Irrelevant in general. ShupaRoeh 18:09, 19 December 2012 (EST)
- I understand, I get bullied here too (by most users). Smash Master 15:56, 20 December 2012 (EST)
Anyways this is not proper talk page usage Sandvich9, as opinions does not help anything. Dots The StarCraft 18:22, 19 December 2012 (EST)
I'd like to tell you guys that I reported everyone except Smash Master and The Awesome to the admins that you were bullying me for my ACCIDENTS because I ACCIDENTALLY forgot. You guys will probably be blocked.Sandvich9 (talk) 10:41, 23 December 2012 (EST)
- Do not threaten others with a block if you are not an administrator. And we call you out for your "accidents" because you continue to "ACCIDENTALLY forget" even after we warn you. Air Conditioner You say you want a revolution? 10:45, 23 December 2012 (EST)
- If I killed someone, and I forgot that it was illegal, I'd still be arrested. Fun fact. MegaTron1XD 10:46, 23 December 2012 (EST)
KILL ME NOW.Sandvich9 (talk) 11:27, 23 December 2012 (EST)
- Sandvich9, I agree too. People are mean here, but try to be nice to them. That might help. The Awesome 11:41, 23 December 2012 (EST)
Uh ok, if you just follow and learn SW:TALK then were good right? Dots The StarCraft 12:03, 23 December 2012 (EST)
A note to users involved in the last section
A note to Wiki users, not every talk page discussion requires your input, especially discussions on user talk pages. Besides Sandvich's posts and discounting my response to another user's comment, there were ten different posts by six different users in the most recent section, with maybe only one post by Aircon actually being of constructive value. When it comes to user talk page discussions, unless you have something actually constructive to add that hasn't been said before, don't post in it. Posting for the sake of saying something just adds needless posts that entice other users to jump in and responses from other users, creating a dogpile effect that makes a mess out of the talk page that often ends in nothing constructive, and can confuse/intimidate the user the talk page is of.
Additionally, when warning/telling user about stuff, don't be vague and brief, be as clear and concise as you can be, properly explaining what the user is doing wrong.
For Sandvich, just read our our damn talk page policy. Users wouldn't be saying anything to you about it if you actually read it and stopped violating it. Additionally, don't use ALL CAPS in your posts; it's just disruptive and annoying to other users, and does nothing to help you get your point across. And don't make posts on your talk page complaining about stuff on the Wiki; it's improper talk page use for one (your talk page is a place for other users to contact you, not to rant about various things you don't like), and it just entices other users to jump on you (as you can clearly see in the last section). For one more thing, we don't care about any problems you may have in your life, it doesn't justify your constant blatant disregard for our policies, and other users have problems yet are still able to be constructive users on the Wiki.
