The point of Omega Tryant's protection of my user page was so that I would edit mainspace articles. I have made 40 edits now, so I think my edit count is close to being balanced. Do you have the power the unprotect that page? Does the "new" SmashWiki have per-user sidebar editing support, like the old wiki had? Also, can you give me admin powers (as I was an admin on the old wiki, and all the old active admins have admin powers on this wiki) or do I have to submit an RfA again? PenguinofDeath 11:45, 10 October 2011 (EDT)
- I don't know if individual sidebars are supported. As for your adminship...that's a reaaaaally fickle subject in my opinion. While I think you should get your powers back, there's something in the back of my mind saying "He's been out of the community for a year, he should wait a short time to get back into it first". Any other users care to give their opinions? Toomai Glittershine The Eggster 12:11, 10 October 2011 (EDT)
- There's a MediaWiki Extension for it, and it's probably worth getting. And yeah, I wouldn't leap right into it, I'm getting to know the community and the current running of the wiki first. PenguinofDeath 12:20, 10 October 2011 (EDT)
- We only have 3 admins and Miles isn't totally active, so having you as an admin would be useful as I see it. BlindColours ...PUNCH!!! 19:15, 10 October 2011 (EDT)
- We do need another admin, though PoD hasn't been around for over a year. As such, he'll have to get acquainted with how the community has changed, and show he is going to stick around (unlike Pikamander2, who immediately left after getting his admin powers back), before readmining him. Omega Tyrant 19:46, 10 October 2011 (EDT)
- Pikminader2 came back for the browser poll, and said on my YouTube channel that he may be back when SSB4 get it's own version of the DOJO. BlindColours ...PUNCH!!! 20:09, 10 October 2011 (EDT)
- What are you talking about, BC? I check SmashWiki quite frequently. Miles (talk) 20:59, 10 October 2011 (EDT)

- The reasons being presented in this section are pretty terrible.
- Administrators are appointed for life; no amount of inactivity can result in an administrator losing his position, because (for the majority of cases, including this one) only exceptional users were promoted in the first place. Nobody cares if I, with my powers intact, leave the wiki and then return to start using them again, because everyone knows I know what I'm doing. Why should the standards be different for someone who wasn't around at the time of the move to be grandfathered? I agree that there is no outstanding reason to promote someone who will just leave immediately, but even in that situation, what has been lost? The 5 seconds it took the bureaucrat to restore their rights? Lol. – Emmett 21:54, 14 October 2011 (EDT)
- Yeah after the bit of thinking between the start of this section and here I tend to agree with this. Will fix. Toomai Glittershine The Victorious 22:12, 14 October 2011 (EDT)
Kirby's unused Hammer animations
I was rather sceptical about the animations, which is why I removed it. However, as you, an administrator, put it back in, I am willing to believe it.
As a request, however, could you upload images or a video of these animations? I think it'd help the Hammer page, and it could be added to Beta elements.
That's all. ReiDemon 19:33, 11 October 2011 (EDT)

Pain sounds in Brawl
Hey Toomai, do you know how to activate the unused pain sounds in a character's pac file? If so, can you come on IRC, and help me activate them with PSA? I'm trying to create pac files that have these sounds used for each character. Omega Tyrant 10:25, 14 October 2011 (EDT)

Users who would like to become administrators/bureaucrat
Do users who show desire to become an administrators/bureaucrat here will not become one? Just asking. ..... Trading card game 17:36, 21 October 2011 (EDT)
- You have to post your Request for Adminship/Request for Bureaucratship yourself, so no. However, several things make people less inclined to support you:
- If you make it clear that you simply want to have the title of admin/bureaucrat, rather than wanting to do more for the wiki and being an admin/bureaucrat would help you do that.
- If you have a failed RfA/RfB.
- If you nag users to support you, or constantly ask if they think you should post a request.
- Basically, don't be annoying, and only do it if you're sure you want it for the right reasons and that you're ready to do the job. PenguinofDeath 17:52, 21 October 2011 (EDT)
Youtube channel page
Could a link to it be put in the sidebar? The channel page should be easily accessible, which could help in getting more submissions for the channel. Omega Tyrant 18:52, 21 October 2011 (EDT)

Question for you
Hey bro, I was wondering you know how in recent changes once you have made a contribution there will usually be points in green or red, well I have 2 questions on this: 1. Do they add up somewhere, and are you able to see this total somewhere? 2. What do they symbolize, just length of edit or something more? -- (T • C ) -- Kill em' All" -- Qu&Wow by Slitherx 21:05, 21 October 2011
- Yep, they's basically "length of edit". If you go to a page's history you can see how big the versions of the page are; the +/- numbers show how much an edit changes that size. Toomai Glittershine The Undirigible 21:07, 21 October 2011 (EDT)
- Awesome well I bet if there was a total you would probably be in 1st place with 10,000,000 points by now huh? (T • C ) -- Kill em' All" -- Qu&Wow by Slitherx 21:10, 21 October 2011

Announcer thing
If its not the announcer that remotes the continue option then what is it that automatically selects no if the player doesn't have enough required coins?--75.142.67.97 19:04, 16 November 2011 (EST)
- It says in the Continue article: ...The player can continue if they have enough coins; if not, then "No" will be chosen automatically by the game, the announcer will not tell the player to continue, the continue music will not play when the trophy falls on to the floor and the player receives a game over. So, the game just knows to select "Game Over." Good question, though. MeleeMarth01 (talk) 18:43, 17 November 2011 (EST)

Hey, Toomai: Could you advertise in any way possible my contest? Here's the page: User:MeleeMarth01/SSB4 Roster Contest . Thanks. MeleeMarth01 (talk) 18:45, 17 November 2011 (EST)
- Um, that would not be an appropriate thing to do. People can go to the page if they want, advertising isn't necessary. BlindColours 19:06, 17 November 2011 (EST)

Hey. The proposal to which I have linked above has been ongoing for months now, and to me, there now seems to be a clear verdict. Is it possible that this project can go underway? Glitch Question
I have encountered 2 glitches that are questionable in how they are done. The first is the Blue Falcon and a problem with the camera. The second is one in which the majority of the Smart Bomb explosion was invisible. Since the two can not be recreated, are they glitches, or one time errors in the programming of the game while registering other actions? MegaTron1XD 01:27, 7 January 2012 (EST)

Like Smashpeter, who is also permabanned, he tried to escape ban by making newer user accounts to replaced his old banned user to raid this wiki. Also like Smashpeter, he has not been very successful in outsmarting the admins here and we just keep reverting his edits. It's ok Avengingbandit, everybody makes mistakes. ..... 1. How do I put an image in a specific category?
2. Is it possible for me to make my roster contest into a forum? I want people to be able to vote on the rosters (Drakon64 even asked that). Plus, I wouldn't be bombarded with e-mails.

Please do change it from 3 months to one month. That length's more reasonable. Like you did to the other one. 122.109.248.89 02:43, 27 January 2012 (EST)
What I mean is this one should be reasonable like this one. I promise to stop the evasion, my Mr. Curious account block expired a month ago anyway. 122.109.248.89 02:46, 27 January 2012 (EST)
- Three months is a little long for a range block, but you deserve every second of it. Toomai Glittershine The Jiggy 07:41, 27 January 2012 (EST)
- Yes. I am unable to resist that length. Compromising saves the day. I will need it expanded, if it's too long for a range block, don't put itnup, just make it a month, I will stop coming here if you do. 192.148.117.100 05:24, 28 January 2012 (EST)

Archive box template is interfering with wanted pages
While looking at the wanted pages, I noticed tier list talk page archives 6-20 are on there with six links. However, when I go to the pages that supposedly link to them (the existing tier list talk page and its five archives), I don't see these links anywhere. I suspect the archive box template is to blame, as I noticed this seems to be happening with other talk pages that use the archive box template. Do you know how this could possibly be fixed other than removing the archive box template, so all these unneeded archives stop clogging the wanted pages? Omega Tyrant 23:43, 29 January 2012 (EST)
- I tried removing the useless parameters from the template's use on that talk page. When WantedPages recaches we can see if it's fixed. Toomai Glittershine The Eggster 00:18, 30 January 2012 (EST)
- Wait I misunderstood the problem. I'll look more at it later. Toomai Glittershine The Steppin' 00:21, 30 January 2012 (EST)
- Well, according to this, it's a known bug that is not intended to be fixed. Yet the problem doesn't exist for any other pages that have the archive box. So I don't really know what's going on. Toomai Glittershine The Yellow 09:00, 30 January 2012 (EST)
OK
[Curious block has expired] and evading is like evading another country. Please adjust it to a month. You need to remember that I am autistic about stuff. Please realise that. Months are TOO LONG for a range block. 122.109.253.207 08:03, 30 January 2012 (EST)
- I am also autistic, and I realize that when I do something wrong I need to shut up and deal with it. I'm sure you have a more absorbing interest than disrupting wikis to occupy your time with. Toomai Glittershine The Awesome 08:47, 30 January 2012 (EST)
Still 3 months is too long for a global block. I will not leave you alone till the compromise is settled. We must never not obey an autistic person. Do not make me move the article here too. 122.109.243.213 22:29, 30 January 2012 (EST)

You want a comprimise? How about I shorten the block to two months, but block you for any edit you try to make for a month after that.
If you think that's stupid you should listen to yourself. You're trying to threaten the British Navy with a kangaroo. This entire escapade of yours was caused by you repeatedly inserting trivially-provably incorrect facts into wiki pages, followed by vandalising someone's page (despite thinking he's the only person on the internet worth listening to) because he has a life outside of what you want him to do. So even not counting the harrassment on other Wikia wikis (which I'm sure is illegal in some way), you've done enough bad things that having a disability does not suddenly make you immune to punishment. You will remain blocked for as long as you deserve, and if you don't like it, then tell your parents to complain. Make sure to explain the whole thing. Don't fully protect user pages
In fact, don't fully protect any pages. TrashPeter (talk) 14:22, 3 February 2012 (EST)
- I highly doubt he will listen to this. ZeldasmashFile:ZeldaSymbol.pngTalk 14:44, 3 February 2012 (EST)
If you didn't want your userpage protected, you should have stopped doing things that you were told not to do on it. Toomai Glittershine The Incomprehensible 14:55, 3 February 2012 (EST)
A question for you
I saw on this log:
- 14:19, 25 April 2011 Toomai (Talk | contribs) blocked Tοomai (Talk) with an expiry time of infinite (account creation disabled, cannot edit own talk page) (impersonator)
That looked like you blocked yourself and you were still not blocked and continued to edit. How is it the same and how did he try to type this ο word which is hard to type?--Brandondorf 20:23, 8 February 2012 (EST)
- Basically, someone made an account with almost the same name as me, but using a letter that looks very similar to an "o" instead of an actual "o" (various programs exist to "type" these funny letters). It's kind of like how "l" and "I" look identical in some fonts; people who aren't paying attention will think they're the same. Toomai Glittershine The Steppin' 20:30, 8 February 2012 (EST)
- Yeah but what keys did it use to make this funny "ο" thing?--Brandondorf 20:42, 8 February 2012 (EST)
- Depends on operating system; you could do it with the Character Map program that comes with Windows, for example. Toomai Glittershine The Awesome 20:44, 8 February 2012 (EST)

Hey Can I Ask You Something?
Toomai if I post a vote on the Smash Arena can I edit it if I forgot something?YoshiEggs 10:16, 11 February 2012 (EST)

My signature
Is it too long? THEAVENGINGBANDIT 14:12, 11 February 2012 (EST)
- Indeed it is. You can see if a sig's too long by trying to paste it in your sig's preferences box. Toomai Glittershine The Golden 16:16, 11 February 2012 (EST)
- Signatures are supposed to be limited at 255 characters, yours is 639. To put this in perspective, if an edit to a page makes an addition of 500 characters, Special:RecentChanges will bold the character count. You could just type ~~~~ and you'd be well over that. It looks nice, sure, but it's extremely excessive in length. Toast ltimatum 16:18, 11 February 2012 (EST)
I'll bash the hell out of you
If you don't give me utter respect I'll sue you. MeritC (talk) 16:12, 11 February 2012 (EST)
- Well, that's a little rude. BTW, SW:NPA, and I highly doubt you could win any money in a court case if Toomai was a little "disrespectful" to you. Toast ltimatum 16:15, 11 February 2012 (EST)
- Read this. THEAVENGINGBANDIT 17:49, 11 February 2012 (EST)
- Don't worry Avengingbandit, this guy's been blocked now. Toast ltimatum 18:14, 11 February 2012 (EST)
Was that the same MeritC from the Mario Wiki? Marioisawesome118 13:44, 12 February 2012 (EST)
- No it was not, it was an impersonator. We know this because he is in the IP range of a known vandal. Toomai Glittershine The Researcher 14:06, 12 February 2012 (EST)
Unprotect
The point of Omega Tryant's protection of my user page was so that I would edit mainspace articles. I have made 40 edits now, so I think my edit count is close to being balanced. Do you have the power the unprotect that page? LightningBlue: Need to Balance 18:53, 21 February 2012 (EST)
