:::The only reason I used genders was to make the examples easier to understand, since using "he" and "they" to represent a player and an opponent respectively in one example, and then using "she" and "they" to represent another player and opponent in the next example made it less confusing. I'm all for gender neutral, it's just that I swear I've seen articles around here that use the word "he" in examples, so I thought people recognised it as acceptable.
