'''gav''', formerly known as '''Nova''', is an American [[smasher]]. He began playing on Kaillera in 2009 when he was completely new to the game, but over time he learned and improved greatly. He is not a very technical player but makes up for it with his good spacing and the ability to read his opponent well. He is currently ranked 2nd on the [[Georgia Power Rankings]]. In 2018 at console tournaments he took sets from {{Sm|ReefyBeefy}}, {{Sm|Birra}}, {{Sm|B33F}} and the controversial {{Sm|Studstill}}, among others. In 2023 he attended '''Super Smash Con 2023''' and placed 97th. Also defeated {{Sm|NTA}}, 2-1 at tourney in Georgia and defeated {{Sm|Cuddlytoys}}, 2-0 at '''Clemson Smash Series 40'''.
