Aerial Sweep (エリアルスイープ, Aerial Sweep) is Sora's up special move.

Overview

Sora jumps upwards as he performs a series of spinning slashes, dealing multiple hits and damage. It acts very similar to Link's Spin Attack, except the difference is that Sora will leap from the ground and can move left or right during the attack. It is best used as a K.O. finisher and can cancel the last hit with any move, especially Sonic Blade.

Origin

Data-Sora executing the move in Kingdom Hearts Re:coded

Aerial Sweep is a combat ability introduced in Kingdom Hearts. In the game, Sora will learn the move if he is at level 30 with the Dream Sword, level 60 with the Dream Shield, or level 27 with the Dream Rod (Level 60, 84 and 36 in the Final Mix version). It costs 2 AP to equip. While the function remains the same, its method of learning differs in later games.
