Japan United Smash Festa Round-Robin 1 was a Super Smash Bros. tournament held on March 26th-28th, 2001. It was one of the most famous tournaments of the era and notably attracted several top players at the time, including Keropi- (who was considered the best player), CaptainJack, and Prince. Unlike most Japanese tournaments, which are held on one day, this was held across three days in a ryokan (traditional Japanese hotel). It was conducted in a round robin format with items on.

The success of the tournament prompted a sequel the following year, Japan United Smash Festa Round-Robin 2, featuring the then-newly released Melee instead. It would become an annual tournament series until 2005.
