From my guessing It’s because unlike Base characters most of character images for the DLC are imported from the official ultimate website (excluding Banjo) and some other sources aren’t consistent either because they lack shadows. :Yeah. There is a version without drop shadow, but it's not transparent. We could import the in-game textures, maybe. They'd be a bit small, though. ~ <span style="color: #e68;">Serena Strawberry</span> (talk) 16:09, March 12, 2020 (EDT) | :Yeah. If Banjo’s got a transparent render without the drop shadow, then where did it come from? If we can find how his render ended up like this, then we might be able to do that with the others. Jackson Kloeck (talk) 14:02, March 13, 2020 (EDT) |

Would this be better without the drop shadow?
I feel like it would be better to have the version without the drop shadow be the default. This is so the default is consistent with all of the base game renders. The second revision is what would work if it wasn’t 5 times larger then the others for some reason. Jackson Kloeck (talk) 14:34, March 10, 2020 (EDT)
