Jigglypuff (プリン, Purin) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It was confirmed on June 12th, 2018.
Changes from Super Smash Bros. 4
Aesthetics
Jigglypuff's ears now fold slightly inward when using Rollout.
Aerial Attacks
Special Moves
When using an uncharged Rollout, Jigglypuff will only roll once, speeding up the animation. This improves its safety.- Rest now activates a dramatic slow motion effect upon hitting.
- When Puff Up ends, Jigglypuff aesthetically "pops", and then deflates to normal size, mimicking a balloon. It also has an angry expression while inflating, rather than having its mouth gaping open.
- Jigglypuff shrinks much faster at the end of Puff Up.
Rest is now even more unsafe due to the shortening of Screen KOs, giving players that get Screen KO'd a chance to punish Jigglypuff. This results in what is now a 2/3 chance of Jigglypuff being punished (with only Star KOs leaving Jigglypuff safe).
