Tilton was born in Gap, Pennsylvania and graduated from Calvin College in 2008 with a degree in biology. Ricky Tilton (also known as Gideon) is the founder of Smash World, Smashboards, and this wiki. In March 2008, Gideon sold his websites. Since then Gideon has not been involved with the Smash community in any sort of capacity.
