D1 or xD1x is a very well known commentator for Super Smash Bros. Melee from Brooklyn, New York currently residing in Santa Monica, California. His former static commentating partner was Prog.
Both D1 and Prog were selected to commentate in the Super Smash Bros. Invitational, an event hosted by Nintendo, along with Scar. Their participation was revealed in the form of Smash 4 newcomer-style images. Since then, he has commentated on Smash 4 tournaments as well, and has revealed he would be participating in Smash 4 tournaments in the future, maining Greninja in said game.
