Its sad to see that Samus and Zero Suit Samus are the only good candidates to be in a Smash Bros. game (sucks to be big, Ridley); but what I would like is some Donkey Kong Country characters as DLC such as King K. Rool and to an extent, Banjo and Kazooie. :Banjo and Kazooie would have been a shoo-in in 1999. These days, though, I doubt Nintendo wants to turn Smash into a Rare Replay advertisement. As for Metroid, I still think a Zebesian Space Pirate would be a good way to get another Metroid rep. Thinking about the wall-climbing and projectile shooting moves they show off, plus the mini-boss ones outside Ridley's room in Super Metroid, I can see moveset potential; they're also more reasonably humanoid-sized. In theory, it would also be a way they could bring in Ridley as a Final Smash. I personally would love to see Elma from Xenoblade Chronicles X. It'd be great to advertise for the game, and doesn't a character who switches between dual guns and blades sound cool?
