+The Beam Sword is a combat item appearing in all [[Super Smash Bros. series|Smash Bros games]] that is a sword made of light. This item is heavily based upon the lightsaber from the Star Wars film franchie and in [[Super Smash Bros. Brawl|Brawl]] its resemblence is even more stiking.
