Kirby's Dream Land (星のカービィ, Kirby of the Stars) is a 1992 platforming game developed by HAL Laboratory for the Nintendo Game Boy. It is the first game in the Kirby series, and thus the debut game of Kirby himself, and is featured as a Masterpiece in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U

Kirby is the main protagonist of the game. King Dedede is also the main antagonist of the game.

Stages

Dream Land (SSB) and Green Greens are both based off of the first area in the game, Green Greens. Dream Land (SSB4) is based off of various areas in the game.

Items

Warp Stars are used to get to new areas in the game. The Apples from the Green Greens stage in Melee are also used to defeat Whispy Woods, the first boss of the game.
