Overview
Ness performs a stomp attack below him. The move has a decent amount of startup, somewhat high ending lag, and some landing lag, especially compared to its incarnation in Smash 64 so this can be a risky move to use. The down aerial functions as Ness' meteor smash to edgeguard and has very high base knockback when used on opponents at 0% damage but has low knockback scale which it cannot KO until 200% on grounded opponents.

Trivia
- According to its data, it was intended to have a sourspot, but was never implemented. The sourspot, however, was added to the Brawl incarnation of this move.
