The short-form templates

Useless redirects

On the subject of pointless redirects, could you please make sure they are a) not linked from anything before you tag them for deletion (check whatlinkshere), and b) that you then put the delete template above the redirect to make them easier to reach from the deletion category? I usually replace all the images that are linked to there after I move them. And I thought that putting the delete tag above the Redirect thing would mess up the coding. I'll do that instead. Awesome Cardinal 2000 21:18, 11 April 2013 (EDT)

Just so you know

In order to do this we would have to give all users the suppressredirect ability. As a result all users would be capable of replacing pages with redlinks, basically deleting them and moving the page history somewhere else, which would be too easy to abuse compared to the amount of constructive use the average user would get out of it. Tristate Area

No name is correct, and googling Tristate Area and Brawl together doesn't bring up much, although Mega says tristate is a commonly used term among smashers. We use the more common name, there isn't really a "correct" one. RoyboyX Talk 17:38, 28 August 2013 (EDT)
