#Saying these two have "almost the exact same special moves" is a gross exaggeration, especially when two of the Mario Bros.' specials are not related in any way, while the other two have stark differences. A matchup of two teams of characters from the same franchise does not make a matchup anymore interesting, unless said matchup would have something significant/interesting. Anon already pointed out how Ness and Lucas are just two characters from the same franchise and nothing more. # Ahem..... Mario never had a move called "red missile", nor did Luigi have his own cape. BOTH Mario's and Luigi's down specials AND side specials are different. And Lucas and Ness didn't even appear in the same Earthbound game, so they couldn't be sidekicks. Plus, the idea of 2vs.2 is confusing. Will this go into the statistics?
