:Pikmin will bloom if they survive, so in time they bloom, but I think that if one is attack, it could slow the procces. I also think that when the Pikmin bloom, they can return to you easier, you know, as if they have a computer or an Al in a fashion simular to Nana when she follows Popo. So as the leaf grows, either it makes the Al smarter, or they just get faster. It might also make their health higher. O yea, I remember first noticing this in Adventure mode when you first get Captain Olimar, but when I threw a red pikmin at a missle fired by a R.O.B., the pikmin went through the missle and the missle activated, but the pukmin wasn't hurt. Does this mean that pikmin can be used for defensive tactics, and if so, what moves can help acomplish this? I know the smashes can, but can air attacks do this?
