:There is no "your" mainspace. You have your own userspace (as noted by the User: prefix), but even then there are restrictions on what you can do. I don't know why this wiki doesn't have it (anymore?), but the default message on other wikis below the edit box says "Please note: If you do not want your writing to be edited mercilessly or redistributed by others, do not submit it. " <-- good principle to follow on wikis regarding mainspace contributions.
