 '''The Forest''' is an area of the [[Subspace Emissary]]. It is where [[Link]] is seen walking and [[Yoshi]] is seen sleeping. It is where the red door to the [[Great Sea]] is. The Great Sea stage is where [[Toon Link]] is and you have to fight him.
-It is commonly thought to be the ruins of temple of time as the master sword lays rest here, as it did in twilight princess, but these claims have been argued and it is said to be non canonical to the storyline of twilight princess.
-This area is also impossible to be completed with bowser, (if you were to go back with him) as a quick dash is required to miss s dangerous hazzard and he isn't fast enough to avoid it.
