The main singles event will have a total of 16 players, with 12 directly invited players and 4 players qualifying through the [[Tournament:Ludwig Ahgren Championship Series 5 Open Qualifier|Open Qualifier]]. Swiss pools will work the same way as {{Trn|Ludwig Smash Invitational}}, but with one pool of all 16 players instead of two pools with 16 players each. In the Swiss pools, each player will play until they have won 3 sets, where they will qualify for the Top 8 final bracket, or until they lose 3 sets, where they were eliminated from the tournament.
