Denti also placed 2nd at the Texas national {{Trn|WHOBO 5}}, where he beat {{Sm|Rich Brown}} 2-0 in losers' semis and {{Sm|MJG}} 3-0 in losers' finals before losing to {{Sm|Vinnie}} 1-3 in grand finals. He was considered to be one of the leading ''[[Brawl]]'' {{SSBB|Olimar}} players in North America.
