*Even disregarding how my CSS makes it look weird, I think the new design of the speculation icon takes away from the design on a flat white background, because a lot of the transparency is made redundant on a flat white background. I think the question mark from the old unnotable icon could be repurposed for speculation. *The redesigns used for the svg versions of several of these are, in many cases, direct and significant downgrades to my eyes that would damage the icons' usability. I seriously dislike the svg versions of Check Mark, Data, Disambig, Indeterminate, Merge, Move, Photo, Speculation, Split, Unnotable, and X Mark; they are in most cases harder to clearly understand at a moment's glance, especially at small sizes. I strongly encourage you to scrap as many of the redesigns on that list as you're willing to.
